Extra Virgin Olive Oil? (aka EVOO)
We are nearing our First Year anniversary (August 15th) and couldn’t be more excited!! This has been an incredible journey for our family and the staff. We have all learned and grown so much and look forward to expanding our knowledge and experiences.
At the end of June, Elaine and I were able to attend some olive oil training at The UC Davis. We were very fortunate to be educated by a team of scientists and sensory panel evaluators who are among the world leaders in the of olive oil industry.
We learned just how important it is to consume Real, Fresh, Unadulterated Extra Virgin Olive Oil. We left with an even better understanding about the importance EVOO’s smell and taste along with the chemistry which is the foundation for being accurately labeled “Extra Virgin” in the unscrupulous market.
Our goal is to share this knowledge with you, your friends, family and neighbors and to hopefully help you all feel the wonderful, healthful benefits of regular EVOO consumption. We are also here to share an array of ideas for uses and recipes that will make your mouth water.
Stop by Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am to 5:00pm for a complimentary tasting tour. Bring a friend, your family or even a group to enjoy this experience with. We also offer private evening events with a few different options for unique and truly delightful meal services.
