Traditional advertising includes mediums such as print ads, billboards, and newspaper, radio and television commercials. New media advertising takes traditional advertising and uses technology to package our messages in new ways.  New media advertising is comprised of tools like Google AdWords, social media advertising, and banner ads, just to name a few.

So what methods should a smart business owner choose? As the old adage goes, don’t put your eggs all in one basket. Determine your budget, and spend it in a way that allows you to utilize different methods. Spend a little online, spend a little in print, and spend a little on radio. The best marketing plans include a variety of mediums, so that we can reach our audience at different times and places throughout the day. This type of marketing helps the consumer keep your business at the top of mind when they are ready to purchase your product.
