Senior citizens are amazing! They help take care of grandkids, spouses, and friends, volunteer their time, and have a lifetime of experience and wisdom to offer. As their lives go on, they face some tough challenges as things begin to change for them both physically and mentally. Families and individuals face the difficult task of figuring out how to meet these needs and how to best plan for the last parts of their lives. These can be hard conversations to have, and we at Oliver’s would like to help.
Oliver’s Funeral Home will be hosting a series of workshops specifically for seniors and some of the challenges they face.
Workshops will provide information on resources available to seniors, ways seniors can be engaged in the community, how they can help during a community crisis, and on pre-arranging a funeral service. Each workshop will be led by a professional in that given field.
We invite seniors and their caregivers to join us on Friday, June 8, 2018, at 9:30am, at Oliver’s Funeral Home for a day of educational workshops and a complimentary luncheon.
