Now that we’ve had a touch of colder weather you might ask yourself, is there still time to do my roof? How warm should it be when I have my shingles installed?

The truth is, some companies work through the winter. Your shingles don’t necessarily need to seal down but they do need to lay flat. Even at -5/-10 degrees, the shingles can get warm enough for good installation. Some shingles are better than others as they have an extra woven nail strip layer. This layer allows the nails to be properly fastened without blowing through the shingle. So if you’re still thinking about doing a roof this fall, feel free to give us a call at 403-581-1355!
