With January and making New Years Resolutions around the corner, we usually feel eager and optimistic about making changes. And then when the diet only lasts 6 weeks, the gym 2 weeks, and stopping smoking lasts only 3 days, we feel like we have let our selves down.
Resolutions can be hard to stick with, but by breaking our goals down into small steps, they can be more manageable – try drinking 8 glasses of water a day, smoking a ½ pack instead of a full, going to the gym twice a week instead of 5. Track your progress and celebrate your small victories, because they will soon add up to big ones.
