Well it’s that time of year again to start thinking about yard and house maintenance. Basic maintenance will help extend the life of your roof, eavestrough and siding. As a general rule, you should remove and clear off all debris from the roof valleys and any other areas where leaves and twigs may pile up.
Be sure to clean out your eave troughs and down pipes. Inspect and repair any missing shingles that you may have not noticed. Nail down any loose flashing and re caulk any dried up and cracked old tar.
Repair any missing or damaged down spouts to ensure the water drains properly away from your house. Clean your siding following the manufacturing requirements.
