Red Deer Tinted Glass Expert- Alesha Heisler

Do you have a tint that I can still see out of, but nobody can see in?  This is a question that we get asked often.  The answer is not so simple, it is both yes and no.

Yes will refer to the daylight hours that we have.  During the day there is more light outside, causing the film (that is installed on the inside of the window, inside your house/business) to be very reflective to the outside.  At night there is usually more light inside then there is outside, allowing the film to be slightly transparent from the outside.

Think about it like a cop show where the suspect is being interrogated in a very bright room, and the witness/supervisors are in a dark room.  Once the light is turned on in the dark room, then the suspect can see whomever is in that room.  It is the same idea with residential/commercial films, just with less police presence.

We have some films that are “dual reflective” that will counteract some of the reflection back towards the inside of the residence/business at night, but it is definitely something that we need to keep in mind.  Please do not hesitate to ask us about this, or anything else we may be able to help with, and we can show you some samples and help get you the proper information.  Thank you for reading and we hope to hear from you!
