Is Shockwave Therapy for me?

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that is a series of low energy acoustic wave pulsations that are directly applied to an injury or affected area.  The concept and technology originally evolved for the discovery that focused pressure waves were capable of breaking down kidney and gallstones.  Generated shockwaves have been proven successfully in a number of scientific and clinical studies for the treatment of a wide variety of chronic conditions.

Shockwave is a unique treatment for lingering injuries, pain for illness or to help you achieve improved movement.  Although the name suggest that this treatment may be painful, the opposite is true and it is easily applied to the majority of individuals.  Shockwave triggers the body’s own natural healing response, especially with old injures.

Many patients report that their pain is reduced, and mobility improved after the very first treatment.  So what can we treat with shockwave?  The short answer is: where do you have pain or weakness.

Recent studies have also shown specific shockwave treatments to be helpful for individuals suffering from MS and Tourette syndrome to quiet tremors.

Foot pain, planter fasciitis, legs, knees, hip, back, internal organs, such as liver and gallbladder, shoulders, elbows, neck and TMJ to name a few…. How can we help you.
